Covid-19 Updates and Policies

Greetings from Essential Skin & Beauty!

It is hard to believe the last time we were open for services was way back in March, when snow was still in the forecast and days were just starting to get longer. It has been a stressful and trying time for everyone here, as I am sure it has been for you. From the moment we closed, we have been thinking of how things would look when we opened back up and, finally, that time is here! There will be a lot of changes to the spa when you come back, but we are committed to keeping you and us safe during this pandemic. Below is outlined our policies, procedures and schedules for our re-opening on June 1st.

Appointments

  • Please use our online booking system as much as possible for your appointments.

  • Reservations are required. NO walk-ins

  • A wellness survey will be sent via your confirmation email. Please fill it out before your appointment.

  • Please remain in your vehicle or outside the building. Your therapist will call you when she is ready to see you.

  • No guests allowed. Our lounge area is closed and seating has been removed from common areas. The only exception is if you are accompanying a minor receiving a service.

  • Therapist will ask you to follow our prescreening protocol prior to entry

  • Hand Sanitizer or hand washing is required upon entry to the building.

  • Masks are required for all appointments and are not to be removed while in the building. If you do not have a mask, you will have an opportunity to purchase a disposable one for $1.

  • Facials and facial waxing have resumed.  Please wait for your therapist to notify you of when it is safe to remove your mask.

  • Room doors will remain open for any services that do not require the guest to change.

  • Cashless transactions are encouraged.

Cleaning procedures

Although we already do much of what the CDC and IDPH require for sanitation and disinfection, we are taking extra time to make sure high touch areas and cleaned and disinfected properly. We have added additional time in between appointments to make sure rooms are aired out, disinfected and ready for the next guest.

 

Memberships

Throughout the closure Memberships have been suspended. We will continue to suspend memberships until service returns to normal.

If you were charged in March and were unable to use your Waxing Benefit, it has been added back to your account and may be used.

Prepaid Spa memberships are unable to be frozen, but benefits do not expire and will continue to be available. Adjustments will be made as we move through the phases of Recovery. We will also have additional opportunities for Members to use benefits in additional ways

 

Product pickup

  • Orders must be placed online via our shopping site www.esbspa.com/products , by phone or by emailing sales@essentialskinandbeauty.com and must be prepaid before pickup

  • In store shopping will not be allowed at this time.

  • If you have a specific pickup time request please be sure to communicate that request when ordering.

  • Orders over $50 are eligible for free shipping or product drop off in the Elmhurst area.

 

We thank you so much for your support during this time. Please remember that we are doing our best to make your experience as wonderful as we can while also following recommended guidelines. Hopefully, we will be back to normal before we know it!!
